Here is an example of a leased mare kept on our farm:
By keeping our mare home with us, it eliminates the high cost of boarding since we can charge just what the mare uses. This monthly fee will be calculated before a lease is signed so you will know in advance the monthly charge and not be surprised by any hidden costs.

You have the semen shipped to our farm by a stallion of your choosing (with our approval). Our vet inseminates your leased mare on our property. This saves you the cost of hauling and additional mare care at another farm. Our vet has a set fee and charges only according to services rendered. You pay for all vet charges pertaining to the pregnancy, delivery and foal care after delivery.

This gives you a general idea of how affordable and easy it can be. Of course, you no doubt will have questions, and they will all be addressed, so there will be no misunderstandings.
